How far in advance should you order wedding favours?

Of all the questions couples ask us, timing comes up the most. The honest answer for custom favours like ours: earlier than you think, but probably not as early as you fear.

Our usual lead times

For events in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the USA and Canada, we usually recommend getting started at least 4 months out. For Bali, the Philippines, the UK and Europe, 5 months gives everything room to breathe.

Those windows cover design back-and-forth, your approvals, production, quality checks and shipping. Most of the time in the middle is actually yours: reviewing designs, gathering guest details and making decisions.

Cutting it closer

A closer date is not automatically a no. If you can move quickly on decisions and approvals, we can sometimes compress the design stage. Under about 2.5 months, though, we will be upfront that we cannot deliver reliably, because rushing the last steps is where quality goes to die.

If your date is coming up fast, send an enquiry anyway and tell us your timeline. We would rather give you a straight answer than have you agonise over it.
